About the Team
The Nutanix Professional Services team has a strong influence on the success of each Nutanix implementation by its customers. The Services function ensures success by engaging with customers at pre- and post-sales stages, assisting with their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. Besides helping customers successfully implement Nutanix products, the Professional Services team, working with our partners, ensures customer success in fully implementing their virtualized and software-defined data centers. The Nutanix Professional Services Consulting function includes assessment, design, implementation, integration, and automation services as well as project management.
You will report to the Manager of Resident Consultants, who guides the team with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and excellence in service delivery. The work setup is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility while fostering a strong virtual connection among team members. While most of your work will be conducted from your home office, there may be an expectation of in-office attendance on certain occasions, which is determined on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, be prepared for travel requirements of up to 30% as you engage with clients and participate in on-site activities, further enriching your role and contributing to our mission of delivering unparalleled service.
 
Your Role
  • Design and implement scalable AI and NKP infrastructure solutions on Nutanix HCI platforms, tailored to customer requirements.
  • Advise clients on best practices for configuring Kubernetes for efficient management of workloads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with client AI and NKP initiatives as defined by the customer and Nutanix architecture leadership.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for solution configurations, deployment guides, and knowledge-sharing resources.
  • Serve as a technical lead on assigned engagements, providing guidance on GPU acceleration technologies and their integration in AI workflows.
  • Engage with clients to troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for their AI and NKP infrastructures.
  • Achieve measurable improvements in client satisfaction and project outcomes within the first year, evidenced by successful deployments and positive feedback.
 
What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in designing and implementing infrastructure for data-intensive workloads. AI workload experience is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of resource requirements for AI models, including LLM inference.
  • Experience with GPU acceleration technologies in containerized environments.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset.
  • Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.
  • Active Top Secret Clearance is a strong plus.
  • MUST HAVE experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) or Virtualization platforms.
     
 
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
 
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 128,000 and USD $ 192,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
